Our goal in creating our formulations was to capture the purest essence of nature and bottle up all it´s magic. We accomplished this by using real fruit and plant ingredients, natural preservatives, and cutting-edge technology.

We spent years not only developing our natural products but also acquiring the knowledge and skills to cultivate, slow harvest, and produce our own plant extracts.

We employ sustainable farming and wild harvesting practices that safeguard the planet and respect the land. We ensure that our crops are free of harmful chemicals, allowing Mother Nature to work as intended. We hold ourselves accountable for ensuring that our products are genuinely natural and organic. As a result, we proudly refer to our products as "Nature in a Bottle."

At Imogen, our goal is to create products that generate no waste. We're continually exploring innovative approaches in this area and will not stop until Imogen´s product packaging is entirely biodegradable.

Upcycled: At every opportunity, we utilise ingredients that would otherwise go to waste and repurpose them. One such instance is with our apple seed oil, which is made from the leftover seeds that remain after apple juice production. These seeds would otherwise have been discarded as waste but now provide amazing skin benefits in our Scandi glow face oil. We love breathing new life into resources that would have otherwise been discarded as waste.

Compostable: To ensure the safe delivery of our products, we use wood wool, a byproduct of the timber industry, as a filling material. It is completely biodegradable and can be composted. For those who love gardening, putting wood wool in your garden serves as a soil conservation measure by providing nutrients to the soil and helping to control weeds. Try it out!

Our thank you cards are crafted from seed paper, which is created using post-consumer materials and contains wildflower seeds embedded within. Planting the card in a pot of soil or directly in the garden will result in lovely wildflowers! Which will definitely lighten your mood and bring a smile to your face.

Recyclable: Every single Imogen product is packaged in recyclable packaging, we make an effort to use post-consumer recycled materials as much as possible. All our jars and bottles are made out of glass.

We are dedicated to eliminating all plastic packaging components in our product range, we have yet to find a viable solution for the small plastic components found in our jar and bottle lids. We won´t stop until we have a solution though!
We are also working currently to partner with Terracycle Sweden.

At our farm, we believe that nature has provided us with everything we need to create beautiful and effective products. That's why we never dilute our formulations with water or transport water around the planet. Instead, we use a special ingredient that we're proud to say comes straight from our very own farm forest - birch sap. This amazing natural resource is packed with micronutrients and electrolytes that are great for your skin and hair. Plus, because birch sap is an isotonic solution it is capable of nourishing the skin and hair. At Imogen we like every ingredient to be potent and have a function, no filler ingredients here!

All our products are lovingly produced in small batches, we create just the right amount of products needed, avoiding excess stock and keeping our quality control at the highest level. By staying connected to our farm and Scandinavian farming partners, we can guarantee that every formulation is as fresh as possible when it arrives at your doorstep. Not only that, but small batch production is also great for the health and safety of our crops, reducing the strain and demand on farms.
