At the core of Imogen lies the passion and vision of Cassie, the founder and development chemist behind the brand. With a degree in biochemistry and chemistry, Cassie started her journey in the pharmaceutical industry. But her love for skincare and cosmetic science soon took over, leading her to work with one of Australia's largest cosmetic contract manufacturers.

A twist of fate led Cassie to move to Sweden, where she started working as a development chemist consultant. It was during this time that she noticed major issues with the industry- a lack of care, transparency, and excessive production. Companies were pushing countless products that essentially performed the same function, misrepresenting and producing ineffective products, using harmful ingredients for people, animals and the planet.

With 9 years of experience in the cosmetic industry as a scientist, Cassie decided it was time for a change. She wanted to create a brand that stood for something more than just profit. She wanted to create a brand that produced solely potent and effective products, simplified beauty routines, reconnected skincare with nature, gave back to the community and reinstilled soul back into skincare. And so, Imogen was born.

In southern Sweden's small town of Skövde, my partner and I stumbled upon a breathtaking farm. Fortunately, we were able to buy it back in 2020, which fulfilled our dream to own a piece of land. Since then, it has been a genuine blessing to be able to reconnect with nature, adopt a simpler way of life, and care for animals. Having the opportunity to slow harvest our own ingredients for Imogen products, while ensuring their quality and sustainability, is nothing short of a dream come true.
